BIMAE®


Today, in major urban planning projects, the acoustic study is normative. It seeks to deal with the sources of noise pollution independently of each other, without having a global understanding of a soundscape, which is essentially variable according to the hours and uses.

Environmental Acoustic BIM – BIMAE aims to respond to this problem by modeling the acoustic landscape in the future state of completion of a project from the design phase to rendering. By aggregating all pollution information, from transport noise to human activities over the course of a day, it thus makes it possible to size the acoustic protections in the architectural layouts in relation to the needs of the project.

The expertise we offer for room acoustics is our core business. On the one hand, our innovative methodological approach matches acoustic designs to the architect's designs by prioritizing the function of the building in our solutions. On the other hand, the development of our innovative software has allowed us:

  • A modeling of static and dynamic reception directivities
  • Perfect control of acoustic envelopment (Lev): a world-exclusive innovation.

Public consultancy


During its 40 years of consultancy, the firm participated in the development of national and international normative frameworks for acoustic regulations. In 1990 Alain Tisseyre founded the Groupement des Acousticiens Français within the Maison de l'Ingénierie. This made it possible to structure the profession with public authorities. In addition, he has participated in numerous think tanks relating to acoustic regulations and standardization.

Virtual Acoustic Lab


Our firm has 40 years of experience in assisting manufacturers in fine-tuning the acoustic characteristics of the products developed. We offer them:

  • A virtual acoustic laboratory: it allows in particular the prediction of the modal attenuation index of walls with complex structures and the acoustic absorption factors of materials to arrive at the prototype in a more efficient and safe manner.
  • Expertise in implementing acoustic R&D procedures for product design
  • Implementation of translation software support for internal development of manufacturers
  • Project management assistance for the construction of acoustics and testing laboratories: anechoic chambers, reverberation chambers, semi-anechoic rooms with roller bench, etc.

Moreover, Planète Acoustique has developed numerous products on behalf of manufacturers which are now patented. We can cite in particular the patents concerning:

  • “The development of materials allowing the separation of transport routes at low cost”
  • The “acoustic absorbent canvas material free of volatile fiber”.

Vibes


Thanks to the development of our methodology on sizing and vibration control, we have developed unique technical solutions such as structural impedance breaking: acoustic expansion joints, acoustic trenches, etc. These solutions avoid the suspension of structures, allowing a significant limitation of work costs. Moreover, our applied research on vibration protection positioned us on the European call for tender Prédit 1 Noises de transports which was the winner of the project “Development of a vibration underlay for transport routes at low cost ". This research not only allowed us to assert our expertise in modeling transport vibration protection but also led to a patent being filed.
